The cherries weren't sealed right and leaked into the box.
Great gift
I bought this for my best friend (for over 70 years!), and he loved it.
Received the shipment today and it was perfect timing! We took a half day off and hubby was trying to relax. Mixology to the rescue. He decided on Larceny today. You see, he is an Old Fashioned snob. It gets quite uncomfortable when we are out and he tells the mixologist how to make. The options were as expected. Everything you need to make an evening / end of day cocktail. Can't wait for him to try them all. The packaging was elegant and something I would definitely gift during the holidays. Can't wait to level up the next order.
Love my box! Enjoying an old fashioned right now! 🥃
Bigger ice cube(s) needed on the next try.
I bought this gift box for my husband for Father’s Day, and it was a huge hit! Everything inside was thoughtfully put together and included all the essentials to make a perfect old fashioned. It made the whole experience feel special and elevated definitely more than just a gift, it was something we could enjoy together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and well curated present!
Early Father's Day gift for my husband. He absolutely LOVED it!
Received this as a birthday gift from my wife. Makes a fantastic old fashion. A very unique present.
I bought this for my boyfriend because he absolutely loves old fashions and he was beyond happy to receive this!!!!!
Very nice tasting selections
This was a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. They absolutely love it. They tried one and then had another and they just rave about it. They are bourbon drinkers and said this is top shelf
I loved it I would order it again
I sent the kit to my son in law for his birthday. He loved it😍
Absolutely wonderful. My husband is enjoying his gift. Very pleased.
Gave my husband this kit as Valentine's gift this year...probably one of his favorite gifts from me in 15 years! The First Old Fashioned was tonight... made with Laughton Bros Whiskey...not a bad way to end the day!
My husband loved this gift. I paired it with the Antarctic clear ice maker. Made the perfect old fashioned.
Got order. Thanks
I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He had his first drink from it tonight. He said it was the best Old Fashioned he has ever had I made the drink for him following the included instructions. It was so easy. He loved it.
I was grasping at straws to find gifts for my husband. Got the Old Fashioned kit and was a big hit!!! He is really enjoying it!
It was a gift for my son he loved it
My husband loved the gift. It was easy to mix the drinks they talked about. It is/ great gift box for any man or lady that likes good whisky.
I paid extra for the premium kit, but the bourbon included was not premium and didn’t match what was advertised. If premium bourbon wasn’t available, that should have been disclosed before purchase. I would not have paid the upcharge had that been made clear.
Got this for my boys for Christmas and they loved it.Thanks.
The perfect couple’s gift. Can’t wait to start sampling!!
Gave this gift to my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it! He appreciated the different types of alcohol and everything provided to make a great old fashioned. He said the cherries were especially bomb! Would have been cool if it came with a glass and a stirring spoon- but guess I just have to order that next 😄
Very festive! The Old Fashioned box was a lot of fun.
This was a gift for my son. He made his first one and said he loved it!
Enjoying sampling all the different varieties of whiskey/boubon
This was a gift and the recipient absolutely loved it!
My husband loved this gift and my son who is an experienced bartender also gave it his approval! Thank you!
Bought as a gift for my husband. He loves it
Presentation was well done. Just gifted them last night. Haven’t tried them yet.
This was an absolutely wonderful and fun gift for my husband! He typically does not do mixed drinks but loves bourbon and whiskey. He had a blast using the different liqueurs and experimenting making the drinks for everyone to try.
I purchased 3 as gifts and they all loved them!
Great gift, excellent whiskey choices for the holiday pack, the oranges compliment the cherry to make a fantastic drink!
This is the perfect gift for someone who loves Old Fashion's and bourbon. It has everything you need. It is also beautifully packaged. I am truly impressed and thrilled! I cannot wait to give this gift to my husband!!
Overall, these are a nice gift box for someone getting into Old Fashioned’s. I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my husband in place of a whiskey advent we wanted from another company, but was going to take forever to ship. Shipping from The Mixologer was very speedy - points for that. All of the bottles were samples of $50+ whiskeys from distilleries I either hadn’t heard of or hadn’t sampled yet - the main deciding factor in getting the Top Shelf box. I assumed that the whiskeys listed would be the ones received, and I was really looking forward to trying the Abasalo Mexican Whiskey. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and only 5 of the 8 bottles listed were what came in our box. Also, I wanted to get more info on these, but there isn’t a full bottle available for a lot of these on the site. And as with other reviewers, my jar of cherries leaked all over the foam and bottles. If there was an option to curate my own box of samples minus the toppings, I would have gone that route, because honestly we already have really good cherries, bitters and syrups on hand for our drinks, and I don’t know how I feel about the dehydrated oranges - I haven’t tried them this way yet. We really just want to expand our range of whiskeys. But as a fun gift, I think this fits the bill.
Super excited to gift this to my Old Fashion loving husband, would have given 5 stars but the cherry jar leaked out over part of the box and bottles - I took a baby wipe to clean them off.
